The sentimental stories of an extended family: Laura, separated with two children and Paolo, widower, father of a teenage daughter. Initially neighbours who loathe each other, then lovers, and only after a thousand difficulties finally husband and wife. Around them the colourful and bubbly world of teenagers, hypercritical parents, sisters, brothers-in-law, aunts, and friends. Between imagination and reality four generations confront each other and clash to the rhythm of songs and dances, chasing the rhythm of feelings and that of life.
